The City of Hagan will hold a  celebration of Evans County’s Centennial on Saturday from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. A street dance is scheduled to commence at 7 p.m. featuring live entertainment by the Variations – a local band performing music of the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s.
The celebration will kick off at 2 p.m. with opening comments from Hagan Mayor Vernon Owens and an invocation on the main stage in front of the DeLoach house. Ashley Mitchell will sing the National Anthem.
“We want it to be a family day,” Mayor Owens said. “We’ll have something for the old and something for the young.”
