She’s Ten

Kandanasia Kimani Ny’chella Antromeesia Arrienna McNeal celebrated her tenth birthday on March 20, 2008 with a Hannah Montana party. Her parents are Keta McNeal and Anthony Goodman. Her grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Cecil McClain of Claxton and Mr and Mrs. Larry Brown of Statesboro. Her great-grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Archie McNeal Sr. Vernese Duncan, ando the late Mary Lee McNeal and the late Mary F. McClain. Her great great grandmother is Pastor Mattie Bacon.

First Birthday

Thomas Battey, son of Mandi and Tom Battey of Augusta, celebrated his first birthday April 23, 2008. He is the grandson of Cynthia and David Stephens of Claxton, and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Toole and the late Dr. Alfred Battey of Augusta.


Elizabeth Hutto, Jordan Brown to exchange wedding vows June 28

    The Rev. and Mrs. H. Craig Hutto Jr., of Claxton, announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Deborah to Jordan Michael Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Brown of Canton, Georgia. The wedding is planned for Satuday, June 28, 2008 at Liberty United Methodist Church in Macon.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John C. Kerstetter of Eatonton. The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Frankie Little of Canton.
    The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of Cook High School, a 2004 graduate of Young Harris College, and currently a second year doctoral student at the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy.
    The groom-elect is a 2002 graduate of Sequoyah High School, a 2004 graduate of Young Harris College, and a 2007 graduate of Georgia College and State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in special education. He is currently employed by the Cherokee County School District.
    After honeymooning in Antigua, the couple will make their home in Athens.
