The 1956 photo is of SHUMAN STOCKYARD in Hagan. Note the old "Coca-Cola" ice box machine in an era when a bottle of Coke was 5¢ and later raised to 6¢. Shuman Stockyard was sold to the McDilda Family in the 1970's and renamed Hagan Stockyard. It was demolished in the 1990's . . . and the site is now a vacant lot just east of the Hagan Post Office.
