A new business will be in charge of staging the Canoochee Canoe Race this year, following the establishment of Aldebaran Outdoors – a new LLC held by Christian Scott. Board of Commissioners Chair Shela Lee informed board members last week that the river race, set for April 19, will no longer be coordinated by the Ogeechee Riverkeepers organization.
