Two teenagers were taken into custody by the Evans County Sheriffs Office on Dec. 23, at about 6:30 p.m., after being stopped on Hwy. 129 North.
The ECSO incident report does not state the reason for the stop by Deputy DeLoach and Sgt. Keyfauver while they were on patrol, but one of two 17-year-olds was cited for several alleged violations, including fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement, theft by taking of a motor vehicle, reckless conduct, and obstruction of law enforcement.
