Hagan to cancel November election for proposed alcohol referendums

The City of Hagan will reverse the decision it made last week to place three alcohol referendums on the November ballot, to avoid holding a special election in the absence of other contested races.

…The council…will take an official vote on the matter at its next meeting slated for Tuesday, September 14, where it is anticipated the Council will vote to have the measure come before them….
