Kay DeLoach Martin

Kay DeLoach Martin, 66, passed away November 15, at St. Joseph Hospital in Savannah. The Bryan County native had been residing in Tattnall County for a number of years. She was of Methodist faith and a retired seamstress. She enjoyed cooking and gardening and was a devoted, loving mother and grandmother.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Carlos and Lillie Mae Cowart and a son, Stacy DeLoach.
Surviving are her husband, Pat Martin of Collins; four daughters, Donna (Mark) Dement of Bulloch County, Connie (John) Doepker of Hilton Head, S.C., Bonnie (Joel) Thompson of Claxton and Melanie Williamson of Brunswick; her mother-in-law, Montez DeLoach of Mendez; two brothers, Gene (Monteen) Cowart and Bobby (Joanne) Cowart, all of Pembroke; one sister, Jewel Owens of Pembroke; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Nov. 18, from 10 – 11 a.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 18, at 11 a.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will be in Cedar Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
